Epsilon Omega Chapter Joins Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in
Mourning the Passing & We Celebrate the Life and Legacy of
One of Our Great National Leaders...
26th International President Linda Marie White
A Message From Our Supreme Basileus ...

Dear Sorors,

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our 26th Supreme Basileus Linda Marie White.  Soror Linda was a bright light in Alpha Kappa Alpha who dedicated her life to the Sorority.  She pledged Alpha Pi chapter at Clark University in 1960. From that moment, she dedicated her life to the Sorority. After graduating from Clark, she eventually returned to Chicago where she joined Theta Omega. She was eventually elected Basileus of Theta Omega and was active until her final days.

During her ascension up the leadership ranks, she served as Supreme Grammateus, First Supreme Anti-Basileus – culminating with her election as Supreme Basileus. Her administration theme was “The Spirit of Alpha Kappa Alpha.”  Inspired by that theme, we celebrate her spirit and the contributions she made to Alpha Kappa Alpha.  She was always the epitome of grace and poise and the embodiment of the Alpha Kappa Alpha woman.

The Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony will be held Friday, March 5 at 8PM.
